A LinkedIn lead magnet post works when it names one specific result, shows proof you got it, says exactly what the reader gets, and ends with one short word to comment. Keep the ask to a single word and add "connect with me so I can send it".
01The five-line formula
- 1The result
One line with a specific outcome. "I booked 14 calls last month from one post."
- 2The proof
Why they should believe you: a number, a screenshot, a before and after.
- 3What they get
Name the thing plainly. "The exact 6-line DM I used." Not "my secrets".
- 4The word
"Comment CALLS and I will send it." One word, capital letters.
- 5The connection line
"Not connected? Send a request so I can DM you." LinkedIn needs this.

03Mistakes that keep comments low
- Asking for a sentence instead of a word. Every extra word is a reason not to comment.
- A vague giveaway like "my framework". Say what it is and how long it is.
- Two asks in one post: comment, share and follow. Pick one.
- Answering comments a day later. The fastest reply wins the next comment.
- Forgetting the connection line, so half the commenters cannot get a DM.

FAQQuestions people ask
How long should a lead magnet post be?
Short. Five to eight lines is enough to state the result, the proof, what they get and the word to comment.
Should I put the link in the post?
No. The comment is what brings reach, and the DM is how you start a conversation. Put the link in the DM.
Which word should I use?
One short word linked to the offer, in capitals, that people are unlikely to type by accident, like GUIDE or CALENDAR.
